All About Betty Lynch
I
rode horses as a child for 5 years and have owned and worked with
horses for over 30 years. I have trained and ridden in the sport of
eventing in the northeast (www.useventing.com) since 1980, competing up to the preliminary level.
After moving to Georgia in the early 1980’s, I took several combined training clinics with eventing trainers and Olympic riders Jim Wofford, Denny Emerson, and Stephen Bradley. I have audited clinics featuring Bruce Davidson and Lucinda Green.
I trained my previous two horses to compete at the Novice level in the 1990’s where they both received the US Eventing Certificate of Completion in 1990 and 2002.
I currently manage an equine lesson program at a facility in Alpharetta, Georgia. Since 2004 I have been teaching beginners through adults in dressage and cross country clinics. We also offer monthly camps as well as summer riding camps.
I am currently riding and training my two young thoroughbreds to compete at the Beginner Novice level of competition (see video above). I am a candidate in training for the US Eventing Instructor’s Certification Program for Novice Level certification.
